![]() ![]() Due to these capabilities, this class is apparently a combination of both the Amazon and Assassin classes from Diablo II. They can dual-wield crossbows, launch explosives, place traps, and cast shadow magic (which complements their dark nature). ![]() The Demon Hunter was introduced as a character built around ranged combat. ![]() The Demon Hunter was revealed at Blizzcon in 2010. I use Impale and Hungering arrow with the DoT runes for when I need to do damage on the move.īasically I spam Elemental Arrow /w lightning rune as much as I can and then use Bola w/ Lightning rune when I'm low on Hatred. The Demon Hunter is based around ranged combat. Rapid Fire w/ Withering Fire rune + Bat companion + Vengeance + Steady Aim + Marked for Death = A non stop machinegun which does a continuous stream of MASSIVE damage for like. When it comes to active skills I like to experiment pretty much all the time but I got 2 sets which I use most of the time. I pretty much always use those three passive skills. My build is: Passive x3 - Steady Aim, Vengeance (increased hatred and discipline + hatred from each health orb), Tactical advantage (speed boost after backflip/stealth moves). On Nightmare just finished Act 1 at level 37. I see many people using hungering arrow but tbh the slowing down effect from entangling shot in combination with cull the weak seems more effective to me.Yeah DH is what I'm playing with so far and its awesome. I love the entangling shot (chain gang rune) with elemental arrow, caltrops (hooked spines rune), steady aim (passive ability, +20% dmg to enemies more than 10 yards away) and cull the weak (15% more dmg to slowed enemies).Įntangling shot and caltrops slow down the enemies and elemental arrows do BRUTAL damage with steady aim and cull the weak. Anyone else here enjoying the Demon Hunter? I'm level 28 (Act III Normal) right now. ![]()
